Fostering institutions’ strategic leadership and capacity to manage change since 1994

This evaluation is for institutions new to EUA-IEP or returning after more than three years. It can be a general assessment or include a special focus on internationalisation or research management. Institutions may choose a standalone evaluation or a combined package with a follow-up visit within three years, offered at a reduced fee. The follow-up assesses progress, impact, and supports ongoing improvement.

Coordinated evaluations are initiated at the joint request of institutions and public authorities, and usually involve all or most higher education institutions in the respective country. As a result of a coordinated exercise, each institution receives its own IEP evaluation report and, if requested, we provide a sector report that highlights shared issues and challenges and facilitates a dialogue among key stakeholders, including governments.

This evaluation is intended to strengthen alliances strategic leadership, change management  capacity of higher education alliances as a whole. It supports inclusive self-evaluation and assesses quality assurance, cooperation, and alignment with alliance goals. Based on the Erasmus+ EuniQ methodology, it helps strengthen collaboration, decision-making, and shared educational offerings across the alliance.
